I went to the alt car expo this past weekend and shot a few videos of this car as well as took the Guided tour from the caffeinated super charged guide. One of my favorite weird things about this car is the Audio of an engine below 18? mph.

@gisellemartins20 Your answer to the problem of having to travel 100+ miles is get a bike? So next time I go on vacation I can't take any luggage or passengers. Sounds fun. Actually a motorbike is a great use for daily commuting, thereby replacing your precious electric cars.
For the record, I'm not against "green" cars at all.? Just saying the current iteration of the electrics aren't the solution.

Never said 65 was top speed, again thanks for missing my point. Driving 80 in that car drains power much faster. So keep up with me for 3 miles and then go "oh crap, there's not a charging station for 20 miles, gotta slow down."

My point was the current electric car is not a solution. It doesn't fit our lifestyle. They've got a ways to go before they are viable.
Can you address that point instead of nitpicking?
I'll enjoy my car that cost half as much,? looks way better, and has more power as you stop to charge because you went 65MPH to try and keep with me on the highway for 30 seconds.

@kjparlay and you are a moronic man that dont know anything about electric? cars! In charging station you can charge your car in 30min 80% of its capacity and the new fast charger 2012 from Leaf 6.6kw will be full charged even faster. Go learn before post moronic bulls**t =)

@gisellemartins20 In a gas/diesel car you can go 500 miles on a tank, stop at a filling station (which are everywhere), fill up in 3 minutes, and go another 500 miles.
In an electric car you can go 100 miles, find a place to plug it in, spend 8 hours filling it with electricity, and then go another 100? miles.
Until our (and I mean the world's) lifestyle drastically changes (and I mean reverses) , electric cars are completely impractical.

@robertquentincobb LOL where do you shop? I'd like to know where? I can get a 2 year old car for $6000. And you're comparing the price of a 2 year old car (avg $13,000+) to a brand new one? Also you should factor in cost of oil, oil filters, air filters, and coolants, all of which EV's avoid, for? the life of the car. Then there's several taxes which EV's are exempt from, and last but certainly not least, there's the pollution you're not pumping into the environment...
